We have been involved with Ceilings Unlimited for around 6-7 years and find them to be a professional and reliable company to deal with. 

We find their quotes are generally competitive with a good level of detail provided. They provide a schedule of quantities and scope of work, so it is very clear what has been allowed for. This means there are no surprises or confusion once the project is underway.
 
Sometimes we will ask them to review the specification and value engineer the design. If they see something that isn’t cost-effective, they will give suggestions as to how to make it more cost-effective and this can be passed on to the client.
 
In 2015, we undertook the build for the Westpac Centre on the corner of 12th Avenue and Cameron Road in Tauranga. This high-spec commercial design was one of the most ambitious commercial builds undertaken by Hawes Building Solutions to date. We worked with a number of local contractors to come up with the most cost-effective solutions, without compromising on achieving the highest possible standard.
 
One of those contractors was Ceilings Unlimited. We used their light-weight metal grid system for our suspended gib ceilings and bulkheads. We also used them for the main suspended ceilings in the open plan office areas. The building has 2,233m2 available for tenancies, and the overall site coverage including landscaping and carparks measures 3,714m2. It was quite a large area of ceiling but they were efficient, worked to our programme, and there were no surprise costs.
 
I’d definitely recommend Ceilings Unlimited to others. They are a professional company that possess a sound knowledge of the construction industry. They are very professional, a pleasure to deal with and provide a superior service with regard to administration of projects from pricing, right through to the final account. If a minor cost or construction issue arises which does not require our input, they will generally take care of it themselves. They will also promptly keep us informed of issues that do require our attention. We know how important it is to have reliable sub-contractors and Ceilings Unlimited perform and meet our expectations consistently.
